Content Creation

As I sit here and think of what topic I’d like to discuss, I’m reminded of the fact that being an Artist requires so much more than creating a piece or collection of artwork. You really need to be multi talented and skilled if you want to be successful or “obtain that reach”.

I like to take the natural route when it comes to sharing content. I want to be personal (but not too personal), have fun (sharing my favorite reel of the day), and share what I want, when I want. It’s hard to keep up and be consistent but it’s necessary if you want to be successful.

This summer has been a whirlwind. I’d love to say that I’m spending my weekends sitting on the beach, sketching the shore. Instead, I’ve spent more time pushing out new work to restock my displays at the Sunday Market, and catching up with the necessary housework. It’s my own fault. I say ‘yes’ too often but after I type this complaint, I DO ENJOY being busy. I would probably go a bit mad if I had nothing to do.

I have truly enjoyed meeting and chatting with new people every Sunday at the market. The compliments and purchases have solidified why I do what I do.

I’m looking forward to the fall and hope to continue with this momentum of creation. One of my major desires for the last year is to improve my online reach by creating content that would encourage creativity in everyone. I have big plans and hope to share more soon!
